Stephens is a family-owned global boutique investment bank with additional services in insurance, sales and trading, research, wealth management, and public finance among others. Stephens was founded by Jackson T. Stephens and is currently run by his son, Warren Stephens. Stephens is based on Little Rock, Arkansas and is famous for advising Wal-Mart on its IPO in the 70s.
